GaiaCAD – added 3/12/2005

GaiaCAD is a CAD/G.I.S. (Geographic Information Systems) Authoring tool. GaiaCAD displays GIS and mapping data on a real-time, interactive three-dimensional globe, Cartesian, Mercator and other projections of the Earth. In the GaiaCAD Earth globe can be rotated and zoomed to display a close-up of any region of the Earth and you can interact with the countries and objects displayed. With it you can: write Scenario Script for Animated Projects (Object Pascal), build Extensions for GaiaCAD IDE, build Windows executables from projects, and more.

Designworkshop Lite – added 3/12/2005

For simple home design projects or for a good introduction to 3D graphics, DesignWorkshop Lite is the 3D to choose. DesignWorkshop is the first real 3D design tool for creating form in space. The unique DesignWorkshop modeling environment is based on a live 3D crosshair, so you can model in real perspective space, using easy click-and-drag direct-manipulation editing to create, resize, and reshape walls, roofs, openings, etc. With DesignWorkshop, you actually design and build live in three dimensions.

freeCAD – added 3/12/2005

freeCAD is a basic 3D CAD with advanced Motion Simulation capabilities. It is suitable for anyone interested in learning 3D CAD and Motion Simulation. Educators, students and new engineers will find it ideal for the teaching and learning of geometry, kinematics, dynamics, vibrations, mechanisms, linkages, cams, machine design and physics. The program runs on Windows, Linux PC, Macintosh PPC and other Unix’s. Assembly data are unchanged across platforms.

ChemSketch – added 3/12/2005

Quickly and easily draw molecules in a chemistry-oriented interface with customizable toolbars. Make professional reports. Create and use templates. Work with structures, text, and graphics simultaneously and transfer to any OLE-supported software (Microsoft Office, for example). Instantly calculate the chemical formula, molecular weight, and percentage composition. Predict several liquid properties such as density and refractive index. Customize display properties, e.g., atom numbering, chemical symbols, and valence. Draw reactions and schematic diagrams.

Room Arranger (last freeware version) – added 1/7/2005

Room Arranger enables you to simulate everything with no need to draw on a square paper, or to push things there and back repeatedly. Design your room or apartment, plan gardens and more!
