IE History Manager – added 11/19/2008

IE History Manager is a small program that gives you the ability to manage yours Internet History. It reads all information from the history file on your computer, and displays the list of all URLs that you have visited in the last few days. IE History Manager allows you to erase these Internet tracks, including Internet Explorer’s cache, cookies, history, visited URLs, typed URLs, autocomplete memory, index.dat files.

FavoritesView – added 4/1/2008

FavoritesView displays the list of all your Favorties (of Internet Explorer browser) and bookmarks (of Netscape/Mozilla browsers) in a single page. Each line in the list specifies the title of the item, the URL address, the created/modified date of the bookmark item, and the folder name. You select one or more of these bookmarks, and then copy them to the clipboard, delete them (Only for Internet Explorer Favorites), export them to tab-delimited text file, HTML file, or XML file. FavoritesView also allows you to locate duplicate URL addresses in your Favorites/Bookmarks or find specific item by specifying the URL or the title.

Link200 – added 12/31/2007

Link200 will determine the validity of bookmarks or favorites in Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Netscape. Link200 is an easy to use step-through wizard that guides you through the entire process. No longer do you have to worry about going to a favorite or bookmark only to find out the site is no longer valid. Link200 will handle the checking and cleaning. Users can automatically delete the bad websites using Link200’s clean option or you can specify which ones you would like to remove on a per website basis.

TrayURL is a USB portable bookmark program. It is small, fast, and simple. The program supports categories. Have all your favorite bookmarks right at your fingertips in the system tray. Works with most browsers and with your flash drive.

Booky – added 1/16/2007

Booky for Windows is capable of converting the Internet Explorer Favorites to a Hotlist that is used by the Opera browser or to a Bookmarks file that is used by Mozilla browsers.

BookmarkBridge – added 12/29/2006

BookmarkBridge is a small, easy to use, multi-platform, GUI-based utility that allows the user to share bookmarks between all their browsers. The user runs it periodically to synchronize between the browsers.

Find Favorites – added 2/7/2006

Find Favorites allows you to quickly find a link in the sometimes confusing folder which Internet Explorer keeps it’s bookmarks (URL files). Just type a word on the find edit box and Find Favorites will quickly display any matching links (searching the contents of the file by name, address and folder).

MSN Favorites Export Toolkit – added 2/3/2006

Oddly enough, Internet Explorer cannot import your MSN Explorer favorites. This toolkit does the job by transforming the MSN favorites file (favorites.xml) into a Netscape favorites file (bookmark.htm) that is (ironically) suitable for import into IE.

Bookmark Manager (BKM for short) is an open source tool for managing your bookmarks, and one of the feature-richest bookmark management tools around which can import/export from/to: Internet Explorer, Netscape and Mozilla, Opera, HTML pages, and lots more, like checking bookmarks for dead links.

AM-DeadLink – added 11/6/2005

AM-DeadLink detects dead links and duplicates in your Browser Bookmarks. If a Bookmark has become unavailable you can delete it from your Browser. AM-Deadlink checks Bookmarks from Internet Explorer, Opera and Netscape.

Turbo Favorites Checker – added 11/6/2005

The smallest and quickest tool you ever had to fix your broken bookmarks, Turbo Favorites Checker validates your bookmarks to see if they are still pointing to active web documents. It can even create a “Dead Links” folder for backups, and export a list of them to a text file.

DzSoft Favorites Search – added 11/6/2005

Internet Explorer plug-in that adds a convenient explorer bar to search in Favorites. If you are an active web surfer and often use the Favorites, installing DzSoft Favorites Search is absolutely necessary for you.

Link200 – added 9/16/2005

Link200 will determine the validity of websites stored in Internet Explorer’s favorites folder. Once the program is initiated, websites are automatically checked online and a report is generated on the status. The report details which websites are valid and others that are no longer working.
