Network Traffic Monitor – added 11/21/2005

Network Traffic Monitor shows you which processes in your machine are causing TCP/IP network traffic, how much traffic that is, and over which IP ports this traffic takes place. For each process it can show detailed information, including the path to the process executable. Network Traffic Monitor can give you a historic overview of the network traffic since the application was started, and save that info to a file for later examination. (last freeware version)


HoverIP – added 11/18/2005

With HoverIP you can display your IP configuration (on all network cards), perform different tasks like NSLOOKUP, PING, TRACEROUTE, SCAN PORTS or network, and manage your ROUTES in a very convenient way.


Packetyzer – added 11/11/2005

Packetyzer is a network protocol analyzer for Windows, also know as a packet sniffer. It is based on the Ethereal project, but provides a native Windows GUI. Packetyzer can capture from virtually any network adapter and supports many advanced features.


Trivial Proxy – added 11/4/2005

Trivial Proxy is a small application that allow to see and log network activity of the any applications(browsers, email clients etc.). Run TrivialProxy and configure it to redirect the local port to the specified host:port; configure the appication to use this port and localhost (it’s very easy, there’s), and voila! You’re seeing and logging the network activity of this application! Supports HTTP (web), HTTPS (secure web), POP3 (recieve mail), SMTP (send mail), NNTP (newsgroups)!


NBTScan – added 11/1/2005

NBTscan is a program for scanning IP networks for NetBIOS name information. It sends NetBIOS status query to each address in supplied range and lists received information in human readable form. For each responded host it lists IP address, NetBIOS computer name, logged-in user name and MAC address.


Osiris – added 10/31/2005

Osiris is a Host Integrity Monitoring System that periodically monitors one or more hosts for change. It maintains detailed logs of changes to the file system, user and group lists, resident kernel modules, and more. Osiris can be configured to email these logs to the administrator. Hosts are periodically scanned and, if desired, the records can be maintained for forensic purposes. Osiris keeps an administrator apprised of possible attacks and/or nasty little trojans.


NBLookup – added

NBLookup is a command line diagnostic tool that uses the User Datagram Protocol (UDP) to send NetBIOS name queries to Microsoft Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS) servers.
