BiblioExpress is a simple reference manager for researchers. It is the freeware edition of our flagship product – Biblioscape. BiblioExpress can be used to collect literature references of different types, to explore bibliographic resources on the Internet, as well as to serve as a free viewer of bibliographic data. BiblioExpress can format records in several popular styles, including ACS, APA, and MLA. BiblioExpress is designed to be small and efficient. You can run BiblioExpress from a floppy disk or USB.

JabRef is an open source bibliography reference manager. The native file format used by JabRef is BibTeX, the standard LaTeX bibliography format. Bibliographies generated by LaTeX and BibTeX from a BibTeX file can be formatted to suit any reference list specifications through the use of different BibTeX style files.

WriteThis is a small tool for writers. The tool generates writing exercises, based on a set of keywords and criteria. It can generate characters, locations, items and special rules, and you – the writer – have a specified number of minutes to combine these things into a story.


Musings – added 7/22/2005

Musings is a tip-of-the-day style program that presents the user with inspirational quotes about writing, as well as creative writing exercises meant to awaken the muse within. The user has the option of having the program run at startup or through a traditional Windows launch. Quotes and exercises are automatically changed daily.(free, but registerware)
