Packman – added 8/2/2005
Packman is a Windows executable image packer. It will take an existing executable and compress it into a form that runs exactly like the original. One of the key goals of the program is to give the user more control over the compression process than some of the other packers out there.
UPXer – added 7/31/2005
UPXer is a GUI for the existing UPX software, which lacks one. In spite of UPX being a great tool for compressing executables, the UPX software lacks a GUI, while other softwares of the same nature have and are not free, so UPXer had to happen. UPXer will provide all the functionality that UPX is providing and will try to support all the versions of UPX. The GUI will make it easy for people to use UPX, which people don’t, due to its command line nature.
