FileSplit – added 8/17/2006

FileSplit gives you a command-line tool for splitting large files into smaller fragments. This is useful when attempting to transport large files onto removable media (such as floppies, CDs, etc.) This program also will generate scripts (for Unix/Linux and Windows) which can be used to recreate the original file even if FileSplit is not installed on the given computer. Additionally, it is written in Java which allows it to ported to any computer that has a Java virtual machine.


Easy Text To HTML – added 8/2/2006

DoubleKiller provides a fast and easy to use application for finding and removing duplicate files. It can free up hard disk space by removing unnecessary duplicate files and scan directories, complete drives or computers in your Network Neighborhood for duplicate files.


DLM – added 4/21/2006

DLM helps you organize your files – not only downloads. DLM can save descriptions for any file or folder and can automatically extract descriptions from archives (ZIP support is native, other archiver can be called externally). That makes it easy for you to identify files. You can furthermore create databases, which can contain the descriptions of all the files in an entire tree and its whole directory structure, so that you can quickly search for your files, which may be located on several CDs, or simply browse the directory structure and all the descriptions without having the CD at hand. Databases can even be updated with descriptions after their creation, so that DLM can be used for existing CD compilations.

Siren is a recursive file renaming program that uses regular expressions such as filename, base name, extension, size, dates et times, dos name, paths, and the creation of DOS batch rename files.

File Commander helps you save time when organizing the files on your disk. If you find that you’re moving, copying, or deleting the same files over and over, you can use File Commander to make a simple command that does it for you. When you run the command, your files will be moved, copied, or deleted just as if you’d done it yourself. File Commander includes a Wizard for creating new commands, with easy step-by-step instructions.


Apex – added 3/24/2006

Apex works a powerful tool that lets you monitor and/or prevent deletion of files. it can also let you move deleted files to a special folder. Other features include running invisibly, prevent file deletions on start up and recording the name and directory of the deleted file as well as the action performed on it, the of the action and the user that requested the action, to a log file.


OrphansRemover – added 3/13/2006

Orphans Remover searches and deletes shortcuts (*.lnk files) with an invalid target in the given folders and subfolders, like your Start menu, Recent documents, etc. These so called orphans are typically the result of uninstalled programs, deleted or moved documents.


StripFile – added 3/10/2006

StripFile strips the redundant information often contained in GIF, JPEG, PNG and HTML files, reducing their size by sometimes as much as 40 or 50%. StripFile uses several techniques to remove data from its target files and creates backup files for safety.
