Hotkeycontrol XP – added 7/13/2005

Hotkeycontrol XP offers a complete hotkey utility that allows you to set hotkeys to do common tasks like opening files, ejecting your cdrom drives, restarting your computer, controlling active windows, controlling Windows media player and Winamp 3, changing volume, typing in commonly used text (macros) and much more. Besides the regular features, the volume status can be shown on the screen (OSD) or in the tray.

Keytweak – added 7/6/2005

Keytweak – a keyboard remapper for Windows NT/2000/XP that makes use of Microsoft’s Scancode Map registry key to remap your keyboard. VB6 Runtime files are required, but are already present on Windows 2000/XP.

HotKeyz – added 7/4/2005

HotKeyz offers a keyboard utility with hotkey control for executing other files, folders or RUN commands. Launch applications in a Normal, Minimized or Maximized State. The Parameter option gives you parameter control when launching another application like Internet Explorer and surfing to a specific site as parameter.

Take Control – added 7/3/2005

Take Control hs many tools and utilities that can help you with: virtual desktops, virtual clipboards, hotkeys manager, minimize to tray other, application manager, kill process, desktop notes, mail notification, split and merge files, search files or directories, magnifier, and color picker.

RemoteKeys – added 6/12/2005

RemoteKeys can automate complex control systems, but also simple jobs like inserting text passages into Word and EMails, filling out (internet-) forms with recurring phrases etc. To do this simply click onto one of the 2500 buttons, which can be freely assigned and labeled. The macros can also be released by using the keyboard if prefered. For those wishing to make full use of RemoteKeys, there are over 350 commands available, e.g. inserting the actual date into a text, opening program groups and ordering them on screen or even to automate Excel macros and calculations. The buttons may be assigned with the help of the integrated macro recorder and an integrated timer can activate these buttons.

HoeKey – added 6/5/2005

HoeKey is a seriously teeny (12k) program to assign hotkeys to do most anything. Win-N to run notepad, Win-G to google search on current highlighted word, etc etc. It’s configurable with a simple .ini file.
